Watersley resident Archie Ryan has extended his contract with Jumbo-Visma Development with one year. The nineteen-year-old Irishman is in his second season with the development team of Team Jumbo-Visma.
Since last year the Jumbo-Visma Development Team has been based at Watersley Sports & Talentpark and Archie Ryan has been one of the residents ever since.
Ryan is happy with the confidence he is getting from the team. “It is great to extend my contract. This team is exactly where I want to be in this stage of my development. For me, there is no better place right now. I feel very good here. Thanks to the team I am developing myself as a rider. We have a nice group of riders and I live at Watersley Sports & Talent Park. This allows me to focus well on my sport. That helps me in my development.”
