Toekomst Cup

The Giant-Schwalbe and Schwalbe-Liv Toekomst Cup is a national youth cycling competition designed to develop the next generation of Dutch road cyclists. Created in 2022, the series offers juniors and first-year riders (ages 15–18) a varied race calendar that includes flat road races, time trials, hill climbs and even a track omnium.

On September 12–13, 2026, Watersley Sports & Talent Park in Sittard will host a round of the Toekomst Cup. The competition’s focus on all-round talent development, from sprinting in crosswinds to conquering climbs and mastering the time trial, makes it an ideal proving ground for ambitious young riders. Past overall winners have gone on to demonstrate exactly the kind of versatility the series aims to cultivate, and this edition promises to be another exciting chapter in Dutch youth cycling.
