At Watersley R+D, talent development is more than just training, it’s about creating the perfect environment for young athletes to grow and excel. Through a holistic approach, we provide all the necessary tools, facilities and expertise to optimize each athlete’s progression, whether in cycling, triathlon, or paracycling. Our talented athletes live at Watersley Sports & Talentpark, where they have access to world-class support. By immersing athletes in a professional setup, we ensure they are fully prepared for the demands of elite-level sports.

This high-performance academy has gained recognition from top international teams and organizations, leading to key development partnerships. For the 2025 season, Watersley R+D Cycling Team will closely collaborate with Team Picnic – PostNL, Uno-X Mobility and EF-Oatly-Cannondale, reinforcing our role as a premier stepping stone to the pro ranks. Meanwhile, the R+D Paracycling Team already boasts Olympic champions, and the R+D Triathlon Team proudly includes an Olympic athlete, highlighting the level of excellence fostered at Watersley.

Are you an ambitious rider and looking for a place to stay, develop, and race from?
With the hills of the Amstel Gold Race, the climbs in the Ardennes, and the Belgian races not far away, Watersley Sports & Talentpark in Sittard is the place to be for young, talented riders who are willing to work hard and want to develop as a cyclist. Also, the campus has multiple options for accommodation, long and short stay!
For our Cycling Team, we’re always open for young talented riders, and to help and guide them with their development and growth to a higher level.
